About Us

Anne
People always remember Anne. She is 6 foot tall, slim, with silver hair and an English accent with strong Cork overtones. We first met on opposite sides of an interview table. Fortunately, I got the job, and we've been friends through thick & thin ever since.
Anne retired after a long career in the Software Industry a few years ago and has since been spending her time gardening, puppy walking for Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, doing voluntary work for her local primary school and riding her horse.
It's no bloody wonder she falls asleep watching TV every evening when you see how much she does!
Last winter, she did a reconnoitre mission to the South of France for three months. It was a huge success, so it's all her fault that we're now planning a full-scale invasion.

Martine

My first memories of Martine are a bit different, I was working from home after having my daughter Polly, and had to call her frequently to reset the modem so I could get on to the Motorola network. I have to have been one of the first "teleworkers" , and it was quite a process in those days, so I was very dependent on Martine!

About 2 1/2 years later Martine had her first daughter, and that cemented our friendship.

She is a horsewoman extraordinaire, and is now heavily involved with Dressage Ireland, organising events all over the country and abroad, so I hope she won't be too bored in Provence!

I was really surprised when George and Martine announced they were going to spend part of this winter in the South of France as well, I must have sold it really well!
